Nutella Stuffed Cookies


200g Unsalted Butter

300g Caster Sugar

1 Large Egg

325g Self-Raising Flour

100g Milk Chocolate Chips

Jar of Chocolate Spread/Nutella (best kept in the fridge to harden)


  1. Preheat the oven to 180˚c. Line two baking trays with greaseproof paper.

  2. In a bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add the egg and mix together.

  3. Sift in the flour and add the chocolate chips (I used a chopped up Milka bar), combine to form a dough.

  4. Spoon a tablespoon about of dough into your hand, poke a hole in the middle of the dough and spoon a small amount of chocolate spread into the dough (this is much easier if the spread has been chilled). Cover the spread with a little more dough and role in your hand to form a sphere and place on the baking sheet. Repeat with the remaining dough and make sure plenty of space is left between the cookies as they will spread.

  5. Bake for 8-10mins until golden on top. Transfer to a wire rack to cool.
